On airport projects, staff said the taxiway relocation and access road design are awaiting a grant agreement before beginning design; construction is programmed in the near future (staff estimated design and engagement would follow once the grant is in place). For the T‑hangar project, staff said the contractor is mobilizing, the hangar structure has been ordered with anticipated delivery in August and some early construction work will begin as materials arrive.
Staff invited board questions about pedestrian wayfinding and how Bandelier (National Park Service) transit service could affect local projects in White Rock; staff said these considerations will be part of design and public engagement when work begins.
