Yolo County supervisors authorize initiation of litigation in closed session

The Yolo County Board of Supervisors voted 5-0 on March 10 to authorize the initiation of litigation in one of two matters discussed in closed session, County Counsel Phil said after the special meeting.

"The board has authorized litigation in one of the two matters on the closed session agenda," Phil, county counsel (first name only in the transcript), said in a report to the board. "The vote was unanimous, 5-0, to authorize litigation, and the details of the matter will be disclosed once the lawsuit is filed as is customary."

Phil also told the board he expected to report out around 10:00 a.m. The announcement concluded the public portion of the special meeting and there were no further public disclosures about the subject matter.
