Tom Sinevich elected chair and Mary Flynn elected vice chair of Cambridge Planning Board

At its Jan. 6 meeting the Cambridge Planning Board elected Tom Sinevich as chair and Mary Flynn as vice chair for one-year terms; both were approved by unanimous roll-call votes of full members.
At the conclusion of its Jan. 6 meeting the Cambridge Planning Board held its annual election for leadership. Tom Sinevich was nominated and, after a motion to close nominations, was elected chair by roll‑call vote of the five full planning board members. Mary Flynn accepted a nomination for vice chair and was elected by unanimous roll call.
Chair and vice chair serve one‑year terms and are selected by full board members. Jeff Roberts and other staff congratulated the new leadership; board members expressed thanks to outgoing officers and looked ahead to the 2026 schedule.
The board adjourned following the elections.
