City Attorney Leibold told the board the department of finance has approved allocation of Real Property Tax Trust Fund monies through the ROPS (Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule) process and that the agency had received the formal approval letter the same day. "We've received the formal letter approving those funds today. So quite timely that we have this on the agenda," Leibold said.
Leibold reported the two vendor quotes for the field replacement increased and provided figures to the board: field‑services work rose from $128,770 to $154,010. He recommended the board approve both agreements with the modified proposals and a 10% contingency on the modified amounts; he said the total project remains within the ROPS‑allocated funding.
The successor agency moved items 17–23 as a block; Agency Member Johnson made the motion and Agency Member Sheridan seconded. The motion passed unanimously with all members present voting in the affirmative.
The action places the contract amendments and contingency authorization on record and clears the funding pathway for the field replacement; staff said the project remains within the ROPS allocation approved by the Department of Finance and will proceed per the agreements presented.
