Commissioners take routine actions: RFPs for sheriff ROV, surplus property and HR agreement approved

At their March 17 meeting, Flathead County commissioners approved several routine administrative items.
The board accepted three RFPs for an underwater remotely operated vehicle for the Sheriff’s Office (submissions named in the packet) and voted to take the proposals under advisement for subsequent evaluation.
Commissioners declared miscellaneous equipment and vehicles from the Weed & Parks department surplus and authorized those items for auction, with proceeds to go to the Weed and Parks CIP fund. Separately, the maintenance department sought surplus status for a 2007 Ford F‑150, a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 and a 2004 Yamaha Rhino; the Rhino was proposed for transfer to the fairgrounds and the trucks for auction.
Human Resources presented a signature‑approval item for an employment credit service agreement with Pinnacle Investigations; HR said the agreement has no fixed dollar amount because costs depend on seven‑year address history checks and applicable court fees. The board authorized the signature.
All items were moved, seconded and approved by voice votes; the transcript records affirmative voice votes but does not include a numeric roll call or tally for each motion.
