Staff said they will circulate a draft lakeshore regulation (incorporating new state guidance and prescriptive use language) to the planning board next week and scheduled a February workshop on cannabis zoning and a possible March workshop on clustering or lakeside topics. Planning staff flagged a contested 30‑lot subdivision north of Highway 40 (Trumbull Street) where planning‑board discussion focused on density concerns and mixed neighborhood lot sizes.
Commissioners asked staff for follow-up materials and accepted the planning board’s recommendations where transmitted; staff indicated they will bring draft findings and any required notices back to the commission for future action.
