Commissioners approved revised job descriptions for multiple election‑related positions after staff presented the new titles and supporting job descriptions.
Separately, the board signed a two‑year employment agreement for Paula Buff to serve as election administrator from Dec. 28, 2025, through Dec. 28, 2027. Commissioners moved to authorize the signature on the agreement; the motion was seconded and carried.
Commissioners asked procedural questions about the transmittals, grading and timing; HR confirmed that the reorganized titles and the addenda were needed to apply the 2% pay changes and to align the election office with department‑head responsibilities.
The county clerk will file the executed employment agreement and updated personnel records.
