Flathead County awards Justice Center HVAC and chiller contract to Camas Creek Contracting
Summary

Whitney Ashmore from the commissioners’ office told the board the county received two bids for the Justice Center chiller and combustion air replacement. McKinstree LLC submitted a base bid of $1,273,001.39 and Camas Creek Contracting submitted a base bid of $741,550 plus an alternate of $54,800 for HVAC controls. Ashmore said the bid and schedule of values were reviewed and recommended Camas Creek as the low bidder.
A commissioner moved to award the bid to Camas Creek; the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote.
The board recorded the motion and approved proceeding with the low bidder. No contract amount beyond the bid totals provided in the packet was discussed on the public record during the meeting.
