Across the Feb. 2, 3 and 17 sessions the Board handled several routine but locally significant items.
On Feb. 3 Sheriff Lowe attended with Cade Tuggle and Mason Crocker for the swearing‑in of Deputy Tuggle as Undersheriff; the action was acknowledged by the Board.
On Feb. 17 J. Perry Wolfe and Morgan Lekvold, Mayor of Scobey, presented invoices and discussed a siren located between the city and county fire halls. Lekvold supplied invoices that the minutes say show the county purchased the siren and the city insured it until the city changed insurance providers.
Library Director Arlene Kegley told the Board a thermostat repair cost more than quoted and that a rattling noise persists; she asked the county to contact MDU to test for electricity fluctuations. The Library Board recommended appointing Ben Fosland to the Library Board.
Commissioner Thievin said he would contact Dakota Gaustad about Park Board membership dues that have not been paid since March 2025. Tim Rask, Fair Association president, provided the board with 2025 fair revenues and expenditures for review.
The minutes record these items as informational or administrative actions; the Board did not take additional formal votes beyond those already recorded.
