Matthew Faustini chosen chair; Eric Ifert elected vice chair for 2026 by Largo Planning Board

Eric Ifert was nominated and accepted the nomination for vice chair; a motion to approve the nomination passed 6–1. Matthew Faustini accepted the nomination for chair and was elected by the board; the result was recorded as unanimous during the meeting.
Board members outlined the procedure for nominations, seconds and majority thresholds before voting. The leadership will preside over the board’s 2026 calendar, including a substantive CDC amendment the staff said will return on Jan. 8, 2026.
Votes recorded on the public record show Ifert elected vice chair 6–1; the chair election was uncontested and affirmed by the board.
