Fulton County authorizes two state probation grants totaling $63,800 and acknowledges a retention stipend plan

Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to authorize Commissioner Randy H. Bunch to sign the 2025–2026 Intermediate Punishment Treatment Grant in the amount of $35,000.00; Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to authorize Commissioner Bunch to sign the 2025–2026 Continuing County Adult Probation/Parole Grant in the amount of $28,800.00. Both motions passed unanimously.
Separately, the board acknowledged a Retention Efforts Letter from Dan Miller proposing use of a stipend funded from the monthly supervision fee, to be held in a restricted account and disbursed by the President Judge for the Adult Probation Department. The minutes record the acknowledgment but do not show a separate vote to implement the stipend at this meeting.
The actions provide the department with state grant funds for treatment and supervision programs and establish county-level acknowledgment of an internal retention-funding mechanism pending any required judicial or administrative steps to disburse restricted-fee funds.
