Lessee says Fort Myers Country Club restaurant near completion after structural repairs; city to consider small change order

Lessee Kevin King told the council the contractor team is actively rebuilding interior spaces and that, barring procurement or inspection delays, he expects to finish construction and reopen in a few months.
Staff said a small change order for stair modifications will appear on the next council agenda and that the city and lessee had coordinated neighborhood outreach events that drew positive feedback. The council did not vote on actions at the workshop but thanked staff and the lessee for progress.
