New member sworn in; board elects chair and vice chair

Following the oath, the board opened nominations for leadership. Committee member (speaker 4) nominated Dennis for chair; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. Lee was later nominated and confirmed as vice chair after a separate nomination and voice vote.
The board approved minutes from the previous two meetings by voice vote and moved on to staff updates and substantive agenda items.
