Collierville names liaisons and confirms dozens of board and commission appointments for 2026

The Collierville Board of Mayor and Aldermen completed annual appointments and liaison selections for 2026 during its Dec. 8 meeting after staff said the town received 75 applications in a six‑week period.
Miss Maynor presented the slate of nominees and recommended the board proceed by board, make motions and vote. The board nominated and confirmed members for the Beer Board; Board of Zoning Appeals; Construction Board of Appeals; Design Review Commission; Environmental Commission; Heritage Commission; Historic District Commission; Industrial Development Board; Library Board (with Mayor Frazier appointed as the board’s liaison); Parks & Recreation Advisory Board (Alderman Missy Marshall named liaison); Pension & OPEB Commission; Planning Commission (appointments made with liaison designations); Tourism Commission; Town Beautiful Commission; and others.
Individual nominee names read into the record included (selected examples): Paul Brister, Steven Christensen, Catherine Dawson, Ed King, Thomas Landon, Robert Blair, Michael Shapara (Beer Board); Leon Floyd, David Fraser, Heath Hudspit, Mark Lutrell, Stephen Williams (Board of Zoning Appeals); and Carson Looney and Jeremy Given for the Historic District Commission and planning‑commission liaison. The board confirmed each slate by motion and roll call.
