At its March 9 meeting the Chickasaw County Board of Supervisors approved several intergovernmental service agreements for FY26–27 and approved payroll and claims.
The board approved drive-thru services at $17.30 per capita for Bassett (45), Ionia (226), North Washington (112) and Lawler (406). Motions to approve those agreements were made and passed by roll call; the board also approved dispatch services for New Hampton at $64,149.84.
The board approved general law-enforcement service agreements for Nashua ($133,875.00) and Fredericksburg ($78,030.00) for FY26–27 by roll-call motions.
The board approved payroll checks dated March 6, 2026 and voted to approve claims in the meeting, recorded as $124,131.74. Separately, a detailed vendor claims listing for 02/27/2026–03/12/2026 was entered into the record and includes line items across departments and a total of $165,648.09.
