Commissioner Neeley moved that the Board enter a closed session to investigate the performance of a public officer, citing N.C.G.S. 143-318.11(6); Commissioner Ramsey seconded and the motion carried 5-0. After the closed session the Board returned to open session on a motion by Commissioner Helms, seconded by Commissioner Ramsey, which also passed 5-0.
Following the return to open session, Commissioner Helms moved to remove Wil Neumann from the Planning Board; Commissioner Kincaid seconded the motion and the Board approved the removal by a 5-0 vote.
