Cramerton commissioners review revised project-priority rankings; manager to report on Centennial Park parking phases

Interim Town Manager Leamon Brice summarized a revised project-priority spreadsheet that had been circulated to commissioners following the Dec. 14 meeting. Brice explained how he tallied members’ low/medium/high rankings, noted a few errors in categories and descriptions, and said he would provide additional context for high-priority items.
Commissioners discussed items on the spreadsheet and asked for clarifications; Commissioner Helms specifically requested more descriptive context for the top 15 projects because those items are likely to be focal points in future budget debates. Brice agreed to supply more detailed descriptions to assist decision-making.
Mayor Nelson Wills recommended moving forward with additional phases of the Centennial Park parking lot project. Town Manager Zach Ollis said he would provide a status report and proposals at the board's next meeting on Jan. 19 and noted that completing those phases properly will require securing funds up front rather than piecemeal. Commissioners also asked staff to follow up on the status of the Timberlake sidewalk connector.
