Port Deposit council unanimously backs bill to shorten annexation wait period

Rinkerman said the change would align annexation practice with smart growth principles and municipal planning; council members discussed the bill in general terms but did not record further conditions or amendments. The council's support will be logged with the MML and shared with local delegation contacts as appropriate.
