The Sheridan School District board unanimously approved the personnel report on Sept. 8, recording contract resignations, new hires, hourly classified appointments, role transfers, and EL building designees across district campuses. Jacob Palmer moved to approve the personnel report and Jan Caldwell seconded; the motion carried 5-0.
Listed contract resignations included Jason Goodwin (bus driver, effective July 14, 2025), Ricky Womack (mechanic, effective Sept. 4, 2025) and Timothy Partridge (SHS security officer, effective Sept. 5, 2025). Contract hires and hourly classified hires recorded included Kassidy Fleming (SIS instructional assistant, effective Sept. 9, 2025), Rae Runge (EEI instructional assistant, effective Sept. 9, 2025), Rachel Yates (EEE instructional assistant, effective Sept. 9, 2025), several bus drivers and nurses with listed effective dates, and other classified staff. The minutes also list role transfers and rescissions of previously announced hires.
The report included a set of English Learner (EL) building designees for the 2025-26 school year for each campus (for example, Christy Whitley for East End Elementary and Miguel Del Toro for Sheridan High School). The minutes do not provide individual contract terms or salary amounts.
The board approved the personnel report as a single motion in open session; no executive session was requested.
