Plano ISD approves consent agenda and casts 352 votes for Collin County CAD director

Trustee Nancy Humphrey moved to approve the consent agenda; Trustee Catherine Goodwin seconded. Board President Lauren Tyra announced "That's 7 hands up. That motion passes unanimously 7 to 0." The consent package included routine items grouped for approval without discussion and the reading of a resolution related to the Collin County Central Appraisal District.
Board Secretary Tara Lance read the resolution aloud, stating that "the Plano Independent School District does hereby cast its 352 votes on the official ballot for the election of members to the board of directors of the Central Appraisal District of Collin County for Mr. Doug Bender." The resolution said it would become effective immediately on passage and was marked "Passed and approved by the board of trustees of Plano Independent School District this November 2025."
The resolution and consent agenda items were adopted as part of the board's routine business; no separate debate or amendments were recorded in open session.
