Board postpones level-3 grievance hearing until Nov. 19, directing notice and format conditions

After returning from closed session, trustees moved to postpone the level-3 grievance hearing scheduled for that night to the board’s regular meeting on Nov. 19, 2025.
The motion directed that the hearing be by oral presentation if the complainant is physically present; if the complainant is not present, the hearing will proceed by written submission. The motion also directed the superintendent or designee to provide written notice to the complainant of the date, time and format conditions for the November hearing, consistent with district policy FNG(local). The motion stated the hearing will proceed on Nov. 19 regardless of the complainant’s or the complainant’s counsel’s availability.
The motion was made and seconded in open session and, after a voice vote, carried. The board took no further action that evening and adjourned at 7:59 p.m.
