The Lake Travis ISD board approved several additional procedural and governance items during the meeting.
Trustees voted to order the May 2, 2026 Board of Trustees election to fill Places 6 and 7; district staff said $75,000 is budgeted in the general operating fund as a maximum estimate depending on municipal participation.
In a Level‑3 grievance hearing conducted in closed session, the board reported in open session that remedies requested by the grievance had already been granted at Level 2 by administration and that no additional remedies were within the board's authority. A motion to uphold the administration's Level‑2 decision carried.
Later the board returned to closed session for attorney consultation and personnel matters and, on reconvening, approved a motion authorizing mediation of certain special‑education matters and delegated authority to the superintendent or designee to negotiate and execute related agreements.
All motions were approved by the board during the meeting; trustees did not take further action and adjourned at 10:03 p.m.
