Marco said the district will return to the board next month with a narrowed list of names and a few color combinations. He described additional supporting materials available to trustees, including architecture renderings and a full copy of responses. Trustees discussed how to weigh local and state branding, how to avoid unique color combinations that raise uniform costs for families, and the anticipated timeline for rezoning, mascot selection (student‑led) and final naming.
Trustees asked whether suggestions recurred frequently and how the district will market and notify developers and potential new residents. Administration said it will provide a checklist and clear requirements to developers to avoid misleading sales claims and that the district will work with campus leaders to be the first to engage eligible families.
