Commissioners also approved renewal of the subcontract with Great Lakes Bay Health Center to provide oral health assessment and dental services under the Kindergarten Oral Health Assessment program for FY2026 at $35,000 from line item 221-445-813.000.
The board accepted a $4,000 Medicaid Navigator grant agreement between Lapeer County, the Lapeer County Health Department, and the Thumb Community Health Partnership and authorized the Chairman to sign the agreement. The committee also authorized payment of annual dues to the Michigan Association for Local Public Health for 2026 in the amount of $3,695 from line item 221-101-957.000.
All motions related to the Health Department were recorded as carried and will be forwarded to the Full Board for formal ratification.
