Gabrielle Dresner of the ACLU gave an informational presentation on Flock cameras and described concerns and information about the technology. County Administrator Moses Sanzo followed with an update on terms of the contract under consideration.
Commissioner discussion included a comment submitted by Bonnie Koning, clerk of Burnside Township, about Flock cameras. After discussion, Chairman Gary Howell said the matter should be referred to the Full Board on Feb. 26, 2026 for further review and potential action.
The committee did not take a final policy vote; it directed that the item be placed on the Full Board agenda. No contract was approved at this meeting.
