Soddy-Daisy agrees to boost Independence Day entertainment budget as fireworks and staging costs rise

Johnson asked the board whether it wished to spend more on entertainment; the board reached a consensus to increase spending.
Commissioner Everett suggested adding a musical performance following the fireworks, and Johnson said city staff will work through logistics if the board approves additional entertainment programming.
