Sheboygan County Executive Committee approves County Administrator’s annual evaluation after closed session

The Sheboygan County Executive Committee met in a special session March 11, 2026, at the Administration Building in Sheboygan. Chairman Keith Abler called the meeting to order at 2:01 p.m. and certified compliance with the Wisconsin open meetings law; the meeting notice was posted March 10, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
Shortly after the meeting began, Supervisor William Goehring moved that the committee go into closed session at 2:02 p.m. pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 19.85(1)(c) to consider the annual performance evaluation of the County Administrator. Supervisor Edward Procek seconded the motion, which the minutes record as carrying on a unanimous roll call vote.
The committee returned to open session at 2:55 p.m. on a motion by Supervisor Edward Procek, seconded by Supervisor William Goehring; that motion also carried on a unanimous roll call vote. After returning to open session, Supervisor Curt Brauer moved to approve the County Administrator’s annual performance evaluation as discussed in closed session and to file the evaluation with the Human Resources Department. Supervisor William Goehring seconded, and the motion carried.
Supervisor Curt Brauer then moved to adjourn the special meeting; Supervisor Edward Procek seconded and the motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 2:58 p.m. The minutes name Michelle Sifuentes as Recording Secretary and list Thomas Wegner and Alayne Krause as attendees who were present in person (arrival times are noted in the minutes).
