Fulton County approves BFJRA charter amendments, appoints member and retains Keller Engineer for 2026

Commissioners on Dec. 30 approved two resolutions amending the articles of incorporation for the Bedford Fulton Joint Recreation Authority and appointed a new member to the authority.
On a motion by Commissioner Steven L. Wible, the board approved Resolution 9 of 2025 to increase the number of BFJRA board members, and Resolution 10 of 2025 to authorize the authority to appoint police officers who would have the same rights as other police officers in the Commonwealth with respect to Authority property. Both motions passed unanimously.
Commissioner Wible also moved to appoint Craig Cutchall to a one‑year term on the Bedford Fulton Joint Recreational Authority, with the term expiring Jan. 3, 2027; the appointment was approved unanimously.
Separately, Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve and execute an agreement to retain Keller Engineer, Inc. for the 2026 fiscal year; the board approved the agreement and will formally appoint Keller Engineer at the Reorganizational Meeting on Jan. 6, 2026.
