Fulton County commissioners approve festival lease, CDBG engineering contract, furniture purchase and invoices

Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve and execute a McConnell Park lease submitted by the Fulton County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism for the Strawberry Festival scheduled June 11–13, 2026; the motion carried unanimously.
Commissioner Hann also moved to approve a contract with CES Engineering, LLC for engineering services at the Warfordsburg Senior Center CDBG project, not to exceed $15,000; the board approved the contract unanimously. Separately, Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to retroactively approve Chief Clerk Stacey M. Shives to sign a CDBG Exempt Status Determination and Mitigation Measures and Conditions Form; that motion also carried unanimously.
On procurement and invoices, Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve a request from Domestic Relations Director Tina Gress to purchase new office furniture from W.B. Mason funded by the Title IV‑D Incentive Account for $6,467.15; the motion carried. Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to approve and execute an invoice from Wessel & Company for CFO services for January 2026 in the amount of $4,340.00; that motion carried unanimously.
Commissioner Wible moved to table a contract between Pressley Ridge and the county pending additional information; the board voted unanimously to table the matter. The public transcript records two executive sessions (personnel 8:33–8:59 a.m.; legal 9:22–10:21 a.m.) but provides no further public detail about those sessions.
