Fulton County commissioners approve routine payroll, payables, reappointments, contracts and bank-signer updates

The board approved reappointments to the Planning Commission (Paula Shives, James Gress, Jeremy Fletcher and Tim Newman) and a Conservation District Director reappointment for Russell McLucas, all for four-year terms expiring Dec. 31, 2029. A Retirement Board meeting convened at 9:15 a.m. (David Lytle via Zoom); the commissioners approved a Conrad Siegel Inc. invoice for actuarial services ($5,700) to be paid from the Charles Schwab pension account and an invoice for investment advisory services ($3,844.25) to be paid from plan assets. The commission also approved a TelePlus Protection System extended service agreement (Silver Maintenance Coverage) for $14,040.56 effective Jan. 1–Dec. 31, 2026.
The commissioners approved Elect IT contract Addenda A (IT staffing/support), B (managed backup services) and C (IT/cybersecurity awareness and phishing simulations) as presented by Nelson Witmer, President/CEO of Elect IT Solutions. The board approved bank documents from Community State Bank to add or remove authorized check signers linked to the Treasurer's Office transition and authorized changes to Treasurer's Office operating procedures as presented by Interim County Treasurer Amy Bishop. Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to adjourn at 11:02 a.m.; the minutes record that the motion carried unanimously.
