Fulton County commissioners on Jan. 13 unanimously approved the 2025–2030 Franklin/Fulton Grant Agreement #4100101172 that designates Franklin County to act as the single county authority for the operation and administration of the Drug & Alcohol Program.
Executive Development Director Julie Dovey presented the agreement and Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to approve and execute the contract between Franklin and Fulton counties and the Department of Drug & Alcohol Programs. The motion carried with all commissioners voting in favor.
The agreement was recorded by motion and acceptance; the board did not amend the contract language during the meeting. No public comment or recorded opposition was noted. The board then returned to other county business and later approved related budget and certification items during the same meeting.
