Jones reported contributions including food and program support from the Houston Police Department Westside Command and Families Helping Families; the full donation list filed with the board showed a December grand total of $231,547.50.
Trustee Lily Truong moved to accept the donation report; Pastor Dr. Greg Patrick seconded. Board President Dr. Darlene Breaux called for a voice/hand vote and announced the motion passed with six yes votes, zero no votes and zero abstentions.
On the consent agenda, Trustee Truong again moved approval and Pastor Dr. Greg Patrick seconded. Dr. Breaux called the vote; the board adopted the consent items with five yes votes, zero no votes and one abstention. The board did not name the abstaining trustee during the roll call on the motion.
