Quorum Court approves minutes, accepts financial statement and hears routine county updates

Justice Jason Roshto moved to approve the July 21, 2025 minutes; Justice Mark Allen seconded and the motion passed 9‑0. Justice Mike Nevens moved to accept the financial statement; Justice Tony Carder seconded and the motion passed 9‑0.
Judge Randy Pruitt provided operational updates: painting at the Grant County Armory is in progress and flooring work is scheduled for October. On roads, he said chip sealing would be completed within a couple of days and that a State Aid paving project on Grant County Road 51, to the airplane monument, is complete with approximately two miles of 2‑inch overlay.
A sales tax report was submitted; the minutes record no figures or discussion. The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn and certification by County Judge Randy Pruitt and Geral D. Harrison Jr., County and Circuit Clerk.
