Quorum Court appoints two to Grant County Library Board, accepts minutes and financials

On Dec. 15 the Grant County Quorum Court appointed David Robinson and Haven Crutchfield Thornburg to the Grant County Library Board (each resolution passed 8–0), approved minutes and financial statements, received a sales tax report, and adjourned.
The Grant County Quorum Court on Dec. 15 adopted two resolutions to fill vacancies on the Grant County Library Board and completed routine business including approval of minutes and the county financial statement.
Resolution 2025-07 was read and a motion to appoint David Robinson to the Grant County Library Board carried 8–0. Resolution 2025-08 was read and a motion to appoint Haven Crutchfield Thornburg to the Library Board also carried 8–0. The court also accepted the minutes from the Nov. 17, 2025 meeting (motion by Justice Jason Roshto, seconded by Justice Mark Allen) by a 9–0 vote and accepted the Financial Statement (motion by Justice Mike Nevens, seconded by Justice Tony Carder) by a 9–0 vote.
A sales tax report was submitted to the court during Other Business. Justice Tony Carder moved to adjourn the meeting; the court closed its session after that motion.
