Portage County’s Health & Human Services committee approved a consolidated performance-management and quality-improvement plan that will replace the department’s prior standalone performance and quality plans.
Staff (S3) said a team led the plan’s organization and that many staff contributed; the consolidated plan is intended to integrate performance management with quality-improvement activities. A committee member raised a question about years and goals in the draft, then moved to approve; a second was recorded and the committee voted 'aye' with the motion carrying.
Staff also noted the department recently completed a state triennial review and that the review went well; they said they will provide fuller detail on that review at the next meeting.
