At the opening of the meeting the Dublin Board of Zoning Appeals held officer elections. A board member nominated Patrick Murphy for chairman; the nomination was seconded and approved by roll call. The board also moved to elect "Garrett" as vice chair for a one-year term; that motion was seconded and carried during the roll call that followed.
During acceptance of minutes from the board’s prior meeting, two recently appointed members abstained because they were not present at the previous meeting. There was no further discussion on officer roles. The board then proceeded to hear land-use cases, starting with Case 25-053V, a variance for a deck at 6809 Holbein Drive.
The board’s officer elections and minutes approval were conducted as routine procedural business before the substantive casework of the evening.
