Staff proposals for 2026 include no change to general ticket pricing this year, modest VIP-club layout and rule changes (addressing seat‑saving and adding some reserved-table options), a beverage add-on option for more clubs, and a one‑hour reduction on Saturday night (close at 11 p.m. instead of midnight) to reduce marginal costs. Staff also reported sustainability gains (increased composting and recycling) and a plan to track reusable-mug returns more closely.
Council members congratulated staff for the year's performance, asked questions about vendor revenue tracking and public safety incident tracking at the festival, and suggested targeted marketing and shuttle/access improvements to expand resident participation. Staff said incident rates at the festival are low but that staff will consider volunteer safety and potential private security support in later evening hours. Council approved the pricing structure as presented.
