Staff reviewed proposed 2026 class fees and noted many classes would see small increases (about $1) while particularly supply-heavy art classes would rise more. The director said the center will include language in posts explaining scholarships are available: "if this is something you can't afford, please see the senior center manager because we can certainly offer scholarships so that no one's left out by our prices," she said.
On community support, staff described a caregiver fair that drew 56 caregivers, 17 of whom were first-time attendees, and said the Elks Club donated what staff described as about 1,000 pounds of potatoes across recent deliveries; staff discussed storage and planned use for meals and food boxes.
The committee also discussed program operations such as Stackbox being on a wait list and routine closing checks for building safety. No public comments were recorded and the committee moved on after the report.
