Colorado Senate receives House messages, hears bill introductions and adjourns until March 4

The Colorado Senate met on March 2, 2026, received messages from the House reporting the adoption and transmittal of several measures and heard introductions of multiple House bills before the presiding officer moved to adjourn until 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2026.

The presiding officer announced that the president had signed Senate Joint Resolutions 13 and 14 and House Joint Resolutions 10-18 and 10-19; the signature announcements indicate those enrolled measures were placed on the record as signed. During announcements the majority leader was recognized; the presiding officer then moved, "I move the Senate adjourn until 9AM, Wednesday, 03/04/2026." Members responded with a voice "Aye," and the motion carried. Brief informal remarks and banter followed before the chamber adjourned.
