Bremer County Board approves $297,194 in claims, amends weapons policy and OKs courthouse trees

The claims publication attached to the minutes lists line items across departments, including $101,400 for annual support agreements and $80,810 for equipment maintenance.
The board met with Paul Cheville of Trees Forever and approved a proposal to plant trees at the courthouse. The minutes record the motion as moved by Hildebrandt and seconded by Vice‑Chairman Corey Cerwinske, and state actions were approved unanimously unless otherwise noted.
