Senate approves $111.6 million appropriation for habitat restoration, advances package of bills

The appropriation is intended to allocate dedicated damage revenue for restoration priorities and related oversight, according to the bill synopsis read on the floor.

Other measures approved during the session include bills on unemployment benefits eligibility, mercury-free flooring certification for schools and community centers, and changes to the New Jersey Infrastructure Bank Enabling Act.
