The applicant told the board the property owners prefer an aluminum installation for smoother access for people using walkers, wheelchairs or motorized devices and said they would accept a white finish and add flowers and grasses in front to improve the appearance. “They really would like to do the aluminum … they said they would be okay with painting it white,” the applicant said.
