During the meeting’s public-comment period residents raised neighborhood concerns about sidewalks and an unrelated business.
Kevin Wagner told the council that sidewalks in parts of town are not being properly maintained, citing snow-clearing failures, cracked pavement and uprooted sections from tree roots. Wagner urged enforcement of the village’s sidewalk-maintenance ordinances.
Joshua Culp raised concerns about another business; the minutes record that Police Chief Alec Cooper offered to meet with Culp to discuss the issue. Several attendees identified themselves to the record (Michelle Laubis and Mark Schwemer). The minutes do not include any immediate council action in response to the sidewalk concerns.
