Ada council approves three claims registers, senior banners and disposal of office table

Council voted to approve claims register 2026-5A for $60,842.15 (motion by Mr. Rowe, second Mr. Campbell — six ayes), claims register 2026-5B for $69,074.17 (motion by Ms. Mason, second Mr. Rowe — six ayes), and claims register 2026-5C for $56,090.25 (motion by Mr. Beck, second Mr. Campbell — five ayes; Mr. Rowe abstained). The minutes record each action by roll call.
On a separate motion, council approved a request from Ada HS seniors to hang banners on village property from May 1 through June 30, 2026 (motion by Mr. Beck, second Mr. Campbell — six ayes). Council also authorized disposal of a large table from the administrative assistant’s office after Village Administrator Amanda Sears noted that asset disposals require council approval (motion carried, six ayes).
These items were recorded as routine business in the meeting minutes. No ordinances or resolutions were adopted at the March 3 session; two ordinances were removed from the agenda pending the Streets Committee meeting. The meeting packet included the Meeting of the Whole minutes from Feb. 17, 2026, referenced by Finance committee chair Mr. Campbell.
