Village Administrator Amanda Sears told the Village of Ada council on March 3 that a Strategic Plan kickoff presentation is scheduled for the March 17 meeting and that a recent fire investigation has concluded but the report will not be released for several weeks.
Sears said the owner of the fire-damaged property has 90 days to complete required cleanup. If the owner does not act, the Village will contract to remove the front brick wall and install fencing and will bill the owner for the work. Sears stated the cost estimate for removing the wall and installing fencing is $8,100.
Sears also asked council to authorize the disposal of a large table from the Administrative Assistant’s office; council approved the disposal by unanimous roll call. The minutes do not record additional budgetary authorization tied to the $8,100 cleanup estimate.
