All formal motions passed unanimously, 5-0.
The board approved Historic Use Permit RCRC6456 for one well (RC1125), filed by KST Capital, LLC, covering 67.45 acres and requesting up to 404.7 acre-feet per year (maximum) with a 306 gallons-per-minute pump rate for industrial, irrigation and commercial uses related to oil-and-gas rig supply and fracking support. Director Ginny Barmore moved for approval; Director Nancy Martinez seconded, and the motion passed 5-0.
The board also approved Historic Use Permit RC6432 for five wells (RC861, RC864, RC866, RC865, RC963) filed by Cimarex Energy on 1,380 acres, requesting 580.7 acre-feet per year (production) and a 360 GPM pump rate for drilling support and other oilfield-related uses. Director Ginny Barmore moved and Director Lee Young seconded approval; the motion passed 5-0.
