Fulton County commissioners approve payables, appointments and personnel actions

At its Dec. 16 meeting the Fulton County Board of Commissioners approved routine business including payables, personnel actions in the Domestic Relations Department, a software renewal and several appointments.
Commissioners approved payables dated Dec. 16, 2025, totaling $281,921.91. The minutes list fund-level detail: General Fund $214,588.09; 911 Fund $20,705.31; Opioid Settlement Funds $46,105.21; and smaller balances in other funds. Motion to approve the payables was recorded as made by Commissioner Hervey P. Hann and carried unanimously.
In personnel matters, the board met with Domestic Relations Director Tina Gress. Motion by Commissioner Hann to dismiss a Domestic Relations employee effective Monday, Dec. 8, 2025, carried unanimously. The board also voted to advertise for an "Enforcement Officer 1" in the Domestic Relations Department, to be advertised internally and externally.
Other administrative actions recorded in the minutes include retroactive approval of a Momentive Software, Inc. renewal for the Fiscal Department at an annual price of $1,660.48 (motion by Commissioner Steven L. Wible); approval of a Sheriff's Department request to provide physician services to an inmate at the Bedford County Correctional Facility (motion by Commissioner Randy H. Bunch); appointment of Thomas Peppernick to the Fulton County Industrial Development Authority for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2027 (motion by Commissioner Bunch); reappointment of four members to the Fulton County Agricultural Land Preservation Board to terms expiring Dec. 31, 2027 (motion by Commissioner Hann); and approval to advertise the 2026 Commissioners' meeting dates in the Fulton County Newspaper (motion by Commissioner Bunch). All motions are recorded as "All in favor." The minutes show two brief executive sessions for personnel matters during the meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:45 a.m. following the recorded motions.
