Fulton County commissioners approve payables, software renewal and board appointments

Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve payables dated Dec. 16 totaling $281,921.91; the minutes list Fund 100 (General Fund) at $214,588.09, Fund 227 (SFC Technology Grant) $330.26, Fund 231 (SFC Evidence Based Practice) $142.50, Fund 238 (911) $20,705.31, Fund 256 (Domestic Relations) $50.54 and Fund 276 (Opioid Settlement Funds) $46,105.21.
The board retroactively approved the Momentive Software, Inc. renewal for the Fiscal Department at an annual price of $1,660.48 and approved a request from the Sheriff's Department for physician services for an inmate at the Bedford County Correctional Facility. Commissioner Bunch moved to appoint Thomas Peppernick to the Fulton County Industrial Development Authority Board of Directors for a four-year term through Dec. 31, 2027, and Commissioner Hann moved to reappoint Margie McGuire (Contractor), Paula Shives (Member-at-Large), Thomas Morton (Elected Official) and Daniel Schriever (Member-at-Large) to two-year terms on the Fulton County Agricultural Land Preservation Board through Dec. 31, 2027; all motions carried.
Commissioner Bunch also moved to approve and publicize the 2026 Commissioners' meeting dates in the Fulton County Newspaper. The minutes show the meeting concluded with an executive session later in the morning and adjournment at 11:45 a.m.
