The chair said Lopez was born on April 26, 1993, in Quezon City, Philippines, later graduated from Garden Grove High School and became a motivational speaker who promoted disability awareness, anti-bullying efforts and community inclusion. "He was known for his compassion, courage, and unwavering commitment to equity and inclusion," the chair said.
Lopez served as a board member for Groundswell and led workshops aimed at empowering young people and reducing exclusion, the chair said. "Christian's legacy is one of profound empathy, advocacy, and leadership," the chair added, and extended "sincere condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues."
