The Fulton County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 10 approved routine minutes and payments, formalized a sub-agreement with the Fulton County Food Basket to administer state food purchase funds now routed to the county, and approved travel, equipment and certification requests.
Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to approve the Feb. 3, 2026 commissioners' minutes and the Jan. 27, 2026 Retirement Board minutes; both motions passed with all in favor. Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve Accounts Payable dated Feb. 3, 2026 totaling $91,872.06. The meeting minutes list fund-level breakdowns including $75,212.91 to Fund 100 (General Fund) and $12,500.00 to Fund 300 (Capital Projects); the minutes show the combined total across listed funds as $91,872.06.
Food Basket Director Sue Cubbage explained the state now routes SFPP (State Food Purchase Program) funds directly to the county rather than the Food Basket, which requires the county to name an administrator through a Sub-Agreement. Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to approve and execute the Sub-Agreement between the County of Fulton and the Fulton County Food Basket, Inc.; the motion passed unanimously.
The board also approved several departmental requests: a travel request for Services for Children Director Christine McQuade to attend the Chief Justice Max Baer's Children's Roundtable Summit April 22–24, 2026 in Hershey, PA; a Citgo quote of $640 for four tires needed for a Services for Children vehicle to pass inspection; and a Certification Statement for the fourth quarter of 2025 submitted by Services for Children Fiscal Technician Stephanie Mellott. Each of the motions was recorded as passing with all in favor.
The meeting included a demonstration of Chief 360 Mobile for Fire & EMS and a Clean and Green matter presented by resident Craig Strait; commissioners took no formal action on those items. The meeting was adjourned at 11:20 a.m.
Minutes were accepted and motions recorded in the meeting minutes; the transcript does not include further implementation details for several items such as the Food Basket sub-agreement's effective date or reporting requirements.
